For those of you that’s been around for a while, you know that 2024 will mark our 9th year as homeowners. One of the best things we ever did was start a garden in our backyard! It’s been a learning process, for sure! This year, Demo wanted to expand our garden, and lucky for us, Vego Garden was kind enough to send 4 of their raised beds to review. If you are new to gardening or even a seasoned gardener thinking of getting raised garden beds I’ve got you covered with this beginner’s guide to using your Vego Garden metal raised beds.
Getting Started: The Beginner’s Guide to Gardening with Vego Garden Raised Beds
About Vego™ Metal Raised Garden Beds
The company was founded with the goal of launching a modular metal garden bed system with a 20+ year life expectancy, utilizing eco-friendly metal materials instead of cutting down trees. We emphasize innovative design and high quality materials in all of our products. Vego Garden gained great popularity right after launching, and is now the leading brand in raised garden beds.
Materials (VZ 2.0)
Vego garden beds are unique because they are made of galvanized steel and painted with a multi-layer powder coating (Aluzinc) to make them long-lasting and rust-resistant. You can read more about VZ 2.0 here. Vego Garden raised beds use 100% Non-toxic, USDA-approved, Eco-Friendly materials. These materials are designed to withstand the elements and provide years of use.
Assembly
One of the things I love about my Vego Garden raised bed is how easy it was to set up. With just a few simple steps, Demo and my oldest son had my raised beds ready to go in no time. We received 4 x 32″ Extra Tall 10 In 1 Modular Metal Raised Garden Bed Kits from Vego Garden. Assembly is quick and straightforward. Vego Garden raised beds come in a variety of sizes and configurations, making it easy to find the perfect fit for your space and gardening needs.
Versatility
Vego Garden raised beds can be used to grow a wide range of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The raised beds can be placed on any flat surface, including soil, grass, concrete, or pavement, making them perfect for gardens of all sizes and locations.
Two of the raised garden beds will be for my flowers, and Demo will plant a variety of vegetables in the other two. I’m so excited to see our garden in a few weeks!
