On September 29th, my darling girl turned four! We celebrated this beautiful milestone like we usually do, with family. Today I wanted to share some pictures of that day special day with you guys! Keep reading for my toddler birthday recap!
This is Four! Toddler Birthday Recap
This is the second birthday that she’s been able to ask for things. Last year she wanted a blue cake, and I ended up baking it for her! This year, her birthday list was a bit longer lol. She asked for a pink scooter, pink sunglasses, and pink boots. She also asked for a Skye birthday cake. All reasonable for a soon to be four years old lol In this toddler birthday recap, I will be linking to everything that I got for her, including the homemade cake and treats from a local shop.
Toys R Us Canada
The day before her 4th birthday, we took her to Toys R Us Canada to buy the scooter. It just happened also to be her dad’s birthday that day, so we made the trip a fun one by stopping at the restaurant as well.
The trip to Toys R Us was interesting. We ended up getting the Little Tikes Lean To Turn Scooter. It was a close call between the scooter and the HUGE Princess Horse & Carriage she saw! We also got her some knee pads because safety first!
Custom made Skye Macarons
Sunday, September 29th, I picked up her custom made macarons and a number 4 balloon. The macarons were homemade buy a Montreal local shop called LaPetiteMacaronette. I’ve been following her on Instagram for a while and reached out to her and ordered some pink, purple, and white macarons for Jazzy’s birthday. We made a service trade and made some delicious custom made Skye macarons as well as one of the best creme brule macarons I’ve ever had!
Birthday Cake
For the last five years since we’ve moved here, we’ve been getting our birthday cakes from Dairy Queens. Except for Jazzy’s birthday, which I’ve been making myself. This year she wanted a Skype birthday cake. I’m sure I could have easily made a super simple one, but I was knee-deep in home renovations and wanted to keep my workload as minimal as possible. And baking cakes was not an option this year. I ended up messaging Nessa’s Delights on Instagram. Got to love how Instagram connects you with so many incredible people with amazing talents! I ordered a custom Skye cake, and my dear brother was sweet enough to go pick it up the day before the party.
Birthday Dress 1
Birthday Dress 2
The second dress was gifted to her by a brand called Moomooz. They sell trendy and stylish kids’ clothes. They sent this adorable tutu dress, and I’m obsessed! I shared more pictures on my Instagram post.
Pictures from the party
We kept it very small and only had my sister, her partner, my nephew, and grandma “with the brown” hair over. I didn’t have the energy to cook, so we ordered pizza! lol
It was such a fun day! Thank you for reading!
