I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but it’s starting to feel like fall here! Matter of fact, I’m typing this while decked with a very thick sweater, some of the hubs socks (they are comfy, ok!), and my favorite tuque. We have a no heating policy until November, so a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do! Other than dressing up like a snowman in October, I find that drinking hot and warm drinks helps with keeping me warm. Today I’m excited to share a new, to me, recipe, that I’m sure you will enjoy as well! Sweet cinnamon milk tea is super easy to make! Be sure to grab a bottle of Torani Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup because you will need it for my recipe!

Sweet Cinnamon Milk Tea
- 4 tablespoons of Torani Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup (if you like your sweet tea sweet, add more to your taste)
- 2 cups of water
- 3 Green tea bag
- 1 cup of milk of your choice (I use 3% because that's all we had in the house)
- 1-2 Star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Cinnamon powder for garnish
- Bring 2 cups of the water, star anise, and cinnamon stick to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Turn the heat off and add the tea bags in the water. Seep for 5-7 minutes
- In another saucepan, bring the whole milk, Torani Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup to a boil. Keep a close watch so that it doesn’t boil over.
- Remove the tea bags, the star anise and cinnamon stick from the tea.
- Pour the tea over the boiling milk and whisk well. Remove from the heat and serve hot with some cinnamon powder over it.
- *Bonus to get that lovely frot on your tea, use a milk frother and mix away until the desired frothiness (is that a word?)

If I had to describe the taste of this sweet cinnamon milk tea, I would say that it reminds me of a chai latte. One of my favorites, to be honest! I love using Torani Syrup in my drinks because it’s super easy to mix in, and there are so many fun and delicious flavors!
