I’ve been a bit MIA on the blog lately. So many things have been happening, and more often than not, I’m too preoccupied.  However, I wanted to take a few minutes to share some birthday recap with you.  On September 29th, we celebrate our sweet child’s 3rd birthday! It’s crazy how time flies. She received some pretty awesome gifts. I’ve gotten a few messages on Instagram about some of them, so I wanted to share a post to list them all.

This year we decided not to throw a party. Instead, I invited my sister over because we hadn’t seen her since August!

Homemade birthday cake

I got a bit creative after Jazzy personally requested a blue cake on the morning of her birthday. I even went as far as making blue meringue cookies with sprinkles on top. Go, Mom! I’ll have to remake this and share it on the blog!

Birthday Dresses From ZARA

For her birthday I asked Jazzy to pick her favorite dress from ZARA. I’ve heard great reviews on their online ordering but hadn’t tried it for myself. I decided to give it a try, and I was delighted. Their shipping is extremely fast, and they offer in-store returns.

She picked the pink dress. I ended up going into their store the same week and bought a blue one and a checkered one. You will more than likely see all three on my IG feed soon. Unfortunately, they are no longer available on the ZARA website for me to link them.

Bunny Dress from Kakito

I can’t get over how cute this bunny dress is. I snagged it at a Facebook group auction just before her birthday! I know the woman that makes the dress and have purchased from her before. You more than likely seen me post about it on my IG feed as well.  She was super sweet and even added a cute little gray dress that says “Little Tornado” so fitting for my Jazzy lol. Kakito has an Etsy shop, but you can also message her on Facebook or Instagram.

Hunter Boots

I’ve wanted Hunter boots for Jazzy for a while now and was finally able to get her a pair for on her birthday. I ended up getting them on Indigo because they had a 15% discount code + I used Ebates and received 4% cashback. Whoohoo for getting a deal! If you shop online a lot, I highly recommend using a cashback service such as Ebates. 

Dinosaur sleeper

This cute little dino sleeper was gifted to Jazzy by her grandma “with the white hair.” She practically has been living in it since. It’s adorable and can be found at Walmart. There’s even an adult size that I’m secretly contemplating buying.

Nia Ballerina Doll

The Nia Ballerina doll was gifted by the lovely owner of KIDS SWAG. She reached out to me a few months ago and was sweet enough to send the Nia doll just in time for Jazzy’s birthday. KIDS SWAG has a ton of cute and diverse items that are perfect for kids.

She also got a cute fluffy toy from her Uncle Rene. Her grandpa visited as well and got a toy that makes wildlife animal sounds. She loves it. I hide it. A lot. lol

So glad we opted not to have a big party and just had some time as a family. Hope you enjoyed this birthday recap!
