When it comes to makeup, I’m usually a lip balm, lipstick and mascara kind of girl. It’s not that I don’t want to put on makeup, it’s just that I’m bad at it. So I stick to the basics. Lip Balm
The first item in my makeup bag essentials is a lip balm or lip gloss. I never leave the house without lip balm. I have a bag filled with different ones, but my top favorite would have to be the EOS lip balls.
Favorite Lipstick
I won’t lie. I suck at applying lipstick. I always feel a bit clownish. But I like wearing a bit of color on my lips. So I always I keep my favorite lipstick in my makeup bag. I like neutral colors, but now and then, I like to go bold!
Mascara
A good mascara is a must to any makeup bag. What I like about it, you do not have to be a makeup guru to apply mascara like a champ. Mascara is the only makeup item I’m confident when it comes to wearing it.
Cover Girl Plumpify Pro Blast Mascara Review
Not too long ago I was sent a Cover Girl Plumpify Pro Blast mascara for review purposes. It is now my go to and favorite mascara. It gives my lashes volume without looking like I have butterflies on my lids! The brush is big. I would say one of the biggest mascara brush that I’ve ever seen. It gives those little lashes of mine life! *insert praise emoji*
Did I mention it also keep my daughter still while I take pictures? LOL 
Even she thinks the COVERGIRL Plumpify Pro Blast mascara gives life!

I love mascara. It’s one of the only things I wear when I need a good pick me up, or when I am going on out. I should also use more lip balm I just never do!

Oh I haven’t tried that mascara before. It’s awesome that you discovered it through a review. I still haven’t found my perfect mascara.
I don’t usually wear make up but I do have my essentials in my purse too. I have not tried Covergirl Plumpify but I guess this would be a great product to try. Covergirl is a trusted brand.
This is a solid list.
I also really carry lip balm everywhere.
Less is always more.I need to try that mascara out.
Covergirl has the best make up products, it’s been my favourite makeup line for years!
I love EOS but I prefer the EOS lip balm sticks. I’m also a gal that needs her eyeliner and occasionally a little concealer!

I always stock my purse with an EOS Lip Ball! The Cover Girl mascara looks awesome! So trying it next time!
My essentials would also include an eyeliner. That mascara is very nice, I’d love to give it a try. Cover Girl knows their make-up after all. Also, that’s a very cute shot of your little one holding the mascara!!! So adorable!

Yes! Lips and eyes! Mascara is a MUST and a good lip balm is key also. I’ve quickly fallen in love with doing my eyebrows though, so I’d have to add an eyebrow kit and BB Cream to my essentials list.

Those are my three make-up bag essentials also. Even if don’t wear anything else, I put mascara on. I have a thing for mascara and have at least different kinds right now.
All of those sound like great products. I haven’t tried the EOS yet, but I’d love to. After hearing about some of the issues with them though I haven’t been wanting to try it out. I just hope if I do that nothing goes wrong.

I haven’t tried the plumpify yet but I have to say it has caught my eye a few times at the drugstore! My makeup essentials are also lipbalm, lipbalm and more lipbalm haha

I love what you have in your makeup bag! Mascara and some good color for the lips is a great way to have a look but not be overdone.
I haven’t tried Cover Girl’s mascara but I’ve tried their lippies and it’s quite good. I’m going to try their mascara soon.
Your daughter is adorable! This looks like a very interesting mascara. I’ve only ever worn mascara on a few occasions, but this does seem like a good choice! I haven’t heard of it. I’ll have to check it out the next time I go to Target.
