Can you believe that I lived in Montreal for so many years, but I never stopped at Duc de Lorraine? Pretty shocking really because they’ve been here for EVER! Last month I finally got the chance to try some delicious pastries, and I just HAD to share my experience with you guys.
Duc de Lorraine – Your Place For Delicious French Pastries in Montreal
My good friend Lisa (from Fabulous Habits) and I hosted our first blogger meet up at Duc de Lorraine. After setting up the swag bags, we decided to have breakfast while we waited for the other bloggers to arrive.
First, I have to say; the staff was Ah-MAZING!! They were friendly, attentive and energetic. I feel horrible because I don’t remember the name of the waiter that served us. He was the sweetest and so funny! Sadly, I’m the worst when it comes to names.
What I really love about this bakery is the Parisian vibe that I got when I walked in. The place is super bright and very clean.
I ordered a salmon croissant with my FIRST ever caffe latte (I’m addicted now). The food was delicious. I wish it had been warm enough to sit outside on the terrasse. I totally have to go back again in the summer.
About Duc de Lorraine
Duc de Lorraine is a charming French bakery located in Montreal. They’ve been in the business since 1952 and are famous for their delicious butter croissant.
Their pastry selection range from maccaron, Eclairs to tiny little fruit tarts. They also have a huge selection of cheese and delicious quiches. They have fresh pies, cakes and so much more.
What’s your favorite French pastry? I could eat almond croissants all day! Yum!
