You guys remember how I bragged about my daughter’s love for food (read it here) when she was a baby? Yea..that didn’t last long. She’s very selective (*cough, picky*) when it comes to food. She won’t eat eggs, she doesn’t like cheese, only bite off a piece of a banana, and even though my daughter loves bread, she gets bored after a while. Sigh, breakfast is the worst! I’m always searching for something new that she might like. A few weeks ago I was getting ready to throw away some ripped bananas when I thought; why not make mini banana muffins. Worst case she doesn’t like it then more for me!
Delicious Mini Banana Muffins
I’ve made banana bread with the Little Man before, and that was ah-mazing but a bit too sweet for a toddler. The last thing I wanted to do is get her sugar high first thing in the morning. I stumbled on this recipe here, and since I had all the ingredients that I needed, I went with it.
I made a few of the mini banana muffins surprisingly enough; she ate two!! Which is rare so you KNOW I was happy! I’m so glad I found the recipe, and if you have picky toddlers (that doesn’t have any food allergies), you should totally give it a try.

The mini banana muffins look so good. Bananas taste so good! Your daughter loved it and couldn’t get enough of the muffins. I would love to try the recipe for my kids.
Banana bread is one of my favorites, but neither of my kids will eat it. Sigh. That’s ok -more for me 🙂

Those look delicious. Making little finger food sized versions of recipes are the perfect way to get kids to eat them.

My Mom loves all things banana, including banana bread and banana muffins. I enjoy certain breads but find that sometimes things are tastier in muffin form.

Yum! They look delicious. With kids sometimes they’re palates are hard to please. It will get better with age. Right now my seven year old enjoys salmon and shell fishes. Odd for seven, but since I involve him in cooking, he’s been a lot better at trying new foods. My five year old, not so much.

I am a big fan of Banana bread so when I saw banana nut muffins I was already down. They looks so good and I like that they are simple to make. I am going to have to try to make me some this weekend.
I don’t like banana, so I usually avoid banana muffins. However, seeing that you doll loved, I want to try and make it for my girls (they are older). I am sure they would love it.
