With Christmas just a few weeks away, I find myself scrambling for gift ideas for my daughter. It’s been so long since I’ve purchased a gift for a toddler. Buying baby gifts was easy. A teddy here, a little toy rattle there. But toddlers? What do they even like?! Since I’m home all day with her, I want to get her toys that are both fun her and yes, for me too. While searching, I came across a few classic toys that are just perfect for toddlers.
Classic Toys For Toddlers
I remember all of these toys from way back. I played with a lot of them too. Except for the telephone. I wanted that Fisher-Price Chatter Telephone so bad when I was a kid. Did you know that this toy was first introduced in 1961? Total classic!

You know that little Fisher Price Phone. My daughter had one over 40 years ago. It looks a little different now. Of course… phones are different now.

The only toy I didn’t have from your guilt guide growing up was a mr potato head. I didn’t want one until I saw Toy Story but I was a little old for one by that point. I’ll just have to wait till I have kids and play with theirs.

So many great toys. I love the look of classic toys, and I find even if made now they are built to last. I would love to grab a couple for my littlest one!
