Books
Two years ago I bought my son his first Dragon Masters books (By Tracey West). He’s been a HUGE fan ever since. No surprised at all that he requested Dragon Masters #8 and Dragon Masters #9 for Christmas.
Toys
Playmobil
Tristan really loves the “How To Tain Your Dragon” movie! We went to see it together when it first came out in a theater. He favorite Netflix show is Dragons: Race to the Edge. We ended up gifting this ship to his godbrother.
The How to Train Your Dragon Drago’s Ship Building Set is also available at Toys R Us
Stick Bots
Stick Bots are super fun for children that love animation. With the free Stikbot Studio app, available on iOS and Android, kids can snap individual photos and stitch them together into a film, complete with built-in music and sound effect options.
Share your creations using #Stikbot and see what others are making all over the world!

LEGO BOOST
Tristan ALWAYS has a LEGO on his list! Be it for a birthday present or Christmas. He ended up getting the LEGO BOOST Creative Toolbox got his LEGO a bit early and even did a review on it (check it out here).
Video Games
Nintendo Switch Console
If I’m completely honest, the ONLY gift Tristan wants this year is a Nintendo Switch. I made a deal with him that I would pay for half but he would have to earn the other half. That’s a pretty fair deal considering this console is 400$.
Project Mc2
Project Mc2 ($79.99), customize Bryden’s Smart Pixel Purse! The Pixel Purse comes pre-programmed with 10 animations and combines technology play with tween girls’ lifestyle and fashion. Using the free downloadable app, you can also create designs or scroll words on the multi-color LED display. Available at Toys R Us, Indigo, and Amazon.
- Connect to a device, and program the LED lights!
- Customize colors, designs (freehand or “stamps”), words, fonts, and speed.
- Link images to create animations.
- The free app is compatible with iOS and Android users. (Smart device not included)
