Hello, loves and happy Sunday to you all. Although I spent pretty much all weekend doing laundry, it was the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in a while. I actually went to bed before 2 am on Friday night AND Saturday night! That never happens!! lol
Enjoying A Relaxing Weekend With The Family
This weekend I made carrot soup using carrots fresh from our garden. Watched the kids playing in the leaves and captured some lovely pictures. I also finished the seasoned 12 of Supernatural and started watching the season finale of The Vampire Diaries (my guilty pleasure).
When the kids were done playing in the pile of leaves, the kids helped Papa with the cleaning (while I snapped pictures, of course! lol). After that, Uncle Rene and Grandma “with the white hair” came over for Sunday supper. They got to taste my delicious carrot soup and of both loved it! I will be sure to share the recipe on the blog soon.

Friday was our daughter’s birthday, yesterday, we had our daughter’s 9th birthday party and had 19 kids come so it was fun! We went to church today.

I bet the kids had fun playing with the leaves. My daughter and I went to get our Halloween costumes.
This sounded like such a lovely weekend! We must be getting a late Fall here because there are very few leaves on the ground!

My family and I went to a pumpkin patch this Saturday. We mostly relaxed yesterday because of the rainy weather. I am still waiting for the leaves to fall here!

What a fun relaxing weekend with the family! I loved jumping in leaves as a kid, my kids did it a bit but didn’t seem to enjoy it as much. Those fall leaves certainly make great photo moments too!
We traveled to Houston to visit my husbands family. SO I wouldnt say it was relaxing to drive 4 hours with a baby but it was fun!
