Happy Sunday loves! Today we celebrated Grandparent’s Day with Grandma “with the white hair.” We haven’t seen her in weeks because she’s been sick. So glad she was feeling well enough to come over for a visit. For this Grateful Sunday post, I wanted to share a few pictures & my most memorable parenting moment story.

My Most Memorable #Parenting Moment
A few weeks I recorded a video on Racoon for the first time. I hadn’t heard of this app before but was curious to try it. Racoon is a platform where you record your real life stories. You can then invite others to share their stories using the same theme (in my case, it was my most memorable parenting moment).
You guys know I’m like really camera shy, so this was a bit of a challenge for me. I must have recorded the video 20 times! When I finally got my hair to hang right, and the light was hitting my face perfectly, Demo walks in (out, since I was outside) and pretty much photobombs my video. See for yourself:

This is great! “Grandma with the white hair”. Isn’t it funny how our kids make their own name for a grandparent? My Mom was Grandma Sassy (after the dog she had at the time) by my nephew and niece.
Although we are grandparents now we didn’t celebrate this year but I think it is great when grandparents can be with their grandchildren on a special day.
I love our seniors. My grandparents were gone since I was very young that’s why I don’t have so much memories about them. This is why when I see old people on the streets or in the malls, it makes me smile and I sometimes stop by and talk to them.

I love the photos – great job. I have never heard of Racoon but with my family being all over the country I think it is an awesome idea. I will definitely be checking it out.

I will have to check out Racoon. Nice to see that your daughter got to spend time with her grandma! Brings back memories of when I was little and the good times I had with my grandmothers.
