Happy Sunday (or whatever day it is when you read this). This week felt long! Not in an “I got so much done” but more in an “Is it over yet” kind of long. Know what I’m saying? Of course, the weekend came and went like a flash of lighting. Demo spend most of the weekend out back getting our garden ready for the spring while I stayed inside being “productive” (watching YouTube video on how to propagate succulents – judge away! lol). For today’s post, I wanted to share a few of the picture I took over the weekend and also, it’s my blog anniversary, and I completely forgot!!
Getting our Garden Ready for Growing Season!
Demo has been really busy!! We now have five raised garden bed for our vegetables, and he’s working on adding a DIY fence to keep the rabbits away.
Last year we had some rabbit problems, so hopefully, the DIY fence will keep them away. You can find raised garden beds online, but they cost a LOT! He’s using items from the Dollarama and wood from the Home Hardware store.
Blog Anniversary
[Tweet “That awkward moment you forget your #blogiversary. Happy 4 years to #ladymarielle”]
So yea, I completely forgot it was my blog anniversary. Want to know how I found out? From people on Linken sending me “congratulations” messages all last week. My blog is four years old! Three if you subtracted the first year when I was blogging as LadyScentsalot (long story, you can read about it HERE and HERE).
Blogging has been a blessing for my family and me, and I’m so thankful that I made the decision to take my blogging seriously a couple of years ago. I like to share my blogging tips so be sure to check out the “Blogging” tab.
Thank you guys so much for being part of this incredible journey. I’m excited to share more pictures of our garden soon.
What are you grateful for this week? I love reading your comments!

We spent the weekend preparing for the garden too! We don’t have a bunny issue but last year we had a woodchuck problem! Dug right under all our fencing and everything. he ate well 🙁
My husband actually built me some semi-raised beds, not as high as yours. I’m hoping it will help. Good luck w/ yours!

The new gardening setup looks great and hopefully the rabbits find someplace else to snack. Congratulations on the big blogging milestone!

I really like those raised beds. You won’t hurt your back bending down to pull weeds.

I am grateful for my youngest child’s unconditional love. I need it more than anything right now. I do admit I do want to start a garden but I’m clueless how to begin.

Congrats on the anniversary and the garden start! I am working on my seedlings now. Need to weed but my allergies won’t allow it.

I am grateful for my daughter who is special-needs being student of the month. It’s exciting to see how far she has come and that is what I’m grateful for.

Your raised beds look great. I had been thinking about raised beds but something much lower. Looking at yours I think I would like them the height you have better.
