For the past two weeks we’ve been eating either pasta or rice for dinner (can you say, boring?) Imagine how happy I was when my dear sister suggested a taco night? Even better, she was going to be doing most the cooking (double yay). We did some browsing on Pinterest, and we decided for to taco pie.
It was our first time making it, so we went with an easy recipe. It was easy to make, and it was delicious. Will definitely be making this again! The only thing I would change it the crust. The recipe we followed ask that we use crescent rolls. We use the Pillsbury brand, but I found it had a bit of a sweet taste to it. For my vegans out there, I found a recipe for you too, but I can’t vouch for the taste!
If you are on my Facebook, then you would know that I splurged and bought my very first Tupperware (ever!!) I wanted to put my new Quick Chef Pro to use, so I decided to make my guacamole. The Quick Chef Pro has this “how to” video that made it hard to resist.

I love tacos! Great choice. That looked really good! I also cheat with enchiladas and instead of rolling them individually I layer the ingredients and make a sort of enchilada lasagna.

Tacos are a staple on our menu – Taco Tuesdays! Though sometimes I switch things up and we have burritos. Serving tacos is so easy – and everyone chooses what they like.

My husband isn’t a fan of tacos so we don’t have them often in our house. My kids love them but they order them out when they have the desire to have one. I love tupperware. It is really a quality product.

We don’t have a taco night but we do have a wrap night at least once a week. Wrap night is a way to use leftovers. I usually cook a little spinach. I use whatever meat I have left over: chicken, turkey, roast, steak, hamburger, meatloaf. Chop the meat in small pieces. I use flour tortillas, put shredded cheese in tortilla 1st, then the meat and spinach, maybe some black beans & green chili. I roll the tortilla, fasten with a toothpick, bake in a oiled baking dish at 350 for 20 minutes. Top with more shredded cheese and bake for another 10 minutes. We top it with salsa of our choice and a dab of plain Greek yogurt. A side dish could be your delicious sounding guacamole recipe (I’ve printed it off to try) or just some avocado and fresh tomato slices. My hubby loves them.
