Nothing sucks more than itch scalp. Actually, I can think of other things but itchy scalp is right at the top. So what’s a girl to do? Over the last few years, I have learned a few tricks to help relief the itch. So today I’m sharing some tips on how to find relief for itchy and flaky scalp.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Everyone by now knows all the different ways you can use apple cider vinegar. Did you know you can also use it in your hair? Whenever I start getting very itchy and flaky scalp, I like to use a mixture of apple cider vinegar with some water and rinse my hair after a wash. The smell isn’t that awesome but relief is always certain in my case.
Head & Shoulders
Now if you are not about the apple cider vinegar life, Head & Shoulder Instant Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner is your next best bet. Growing up Head & Shoulders has always been the brand you go to when it comes to flaky and itchy scalps. Now they have a shampoo and conditioner that has instant hydration. I don’t really suffer from itchy scalp but my husband does and Head and Shoulders is what he usually buys. He says it works great and since he buys it regularly I guess it does.

I have heard that apple cider vinegar does wonders for your hair (if you can handle the smell). I think I will stick to the Head and Shoulders!
Head & Shoulders have stood the test of time! They are the perfect brand for dry, itchy scalp. My mom always used that brand.

My husband will ONLY use head and shoulders. I think its great, I’ve used it quite a few times as well so I enjoy it. I don’t think we have tried this exact one though, I’ll have to pick it up!

My mom used to have this shampoo in the house! I remember the commercials still, after many years, so they def. have a good advertising company. 🙂
My husband and my son have itchy and dry scalps. I didn’t know that apple cider vinegar was a natural remedy for this so we definitely will be trying it out.
