Remember my Christmas haul post about getting some paint as a gift? Well, my office is completely painted. We ended up going with white on the walls and my, what a huge difference! The room feels a lot bigger. With the paint, all dried up and all my things put away, I realize that my office is dull and very boring! Today I’m sharing a fun, quick and inexpensive way to decorate a boring white wall using a tapestry.

This tapestry can be utilized in a lot of fun and different ways like a backdrop. Not only does it look great on a boring white wall, but it also looks gorgeous on a bed or couch. I even saw someone else using it as a tablecloth.
I like the design on this cloth. Matches well with everything else my desk.
Buying our first home has been such a blessing to our family. The house is beautiful and has lots of room to grow. It’s a huge change compared to where we lived before. Now, I just need to win the lottery so that I can hire an interior designer because this home decorating thing is hard! Thankfully, there is tapestry!

Oh I totally get it about home decoration. I have the same problem but I was lucky enough to go to IKEA and get most of my decorating options from there. I would probably not have gone with white because of my kids, nothing stays white and I like pastels or pops of color. Love the tapestry though.

Great idea. I love the thought of adding pieces to a place one at a time, at thrift stores or on sale, yard sales, etc. It’s great to use tapestry because you can change a room’s look a lot easier than by painting the walls!

I am just loving that tapestry which looks simple yet beautiful enough to make the wall look so impressive. Instead of going for paintings, I would really love to try something like this in my home as well.
I have a fabric hanging in my bR. Actually, two. I dont’ like tapestries, per se, but I do like some fabric hangings. Yours is lovely!
This is also great for rooms that have high ceilings. We used a blanket on our vaulted entryway.

I like it, it’s got some middle-eastern flare on to it that doesn’t shout as much. The color is perfect and I can tell that it feels nice.
