I’m turning 30 (yikes!!)
This is supposed to be a big deal!! So how to celebrate it? A Giveaway of course!!! I’m very excited to be celebrating my birthday week with you all. This is such a happy moment in my life and I want to celebrate it by hosting a giveaway! My very first one at that! It was fun trying to figure out how to actually host a giveaway.

Happy birthday! As I’ve gotten older, instead of gifts I enjoy having an experience. Last year a took a long weekend trip with girlfriends and ran a marathon. Doesn’t sound fun to most people but it was perfect for me 🙂
this year it was our income tax so I can finish up my green card process. I turned 31 on Feb 10th our birthdays are close.

My best birthday gift ever was a trip to a spa in Mexico that my husband and best friend surprised me with. I thought he was taking me somewhere (he did not tell me where) and on our way to the airport, he stopped to get coffee and the next thing I knew, my car door flew open and my girlfriend whisked me away into a waiting car and she and I headed to the airport. It wasn’t until we were on the plane that she pulled out the brochures to where we were headed. Best birthday gift EVER!

My best birthday present was an inexpensive sleeveless shirt my grandmother got me for a teen birthday. I don’t even remember which one, but it was the first time she couldn’t get expensive things, and the disappointment I inwardly had (I was a girl, maybe a young teen? ), has been a lesson over and over again because I used it to remind me that there are way way more important things than expensive gifts.
