This year was by far one of the best Christmas I had in a very long time. I got to spend it with family and friends over some delicious food! Loved all my gifts and the best thing is after buying gifts for everyone on my list, I didn’t have a negative balance in my bank account (yahoo). I’m happy about that because my monthly “battle report” will be due on January 1st. Can’t wait to see how well (or not so well) I did for the month of December.

| His grandma told him that today was “Tristan’s day” because he got to open his presents. We had to remind him it was “Christmas Day” and he would correct us and say “I know by it can be Christmas Day AND Tristan’s Day.” |

Tristan looked thrilled!! And I take it you collect everything OWL!! You got some really nice presents there–and the food looked really yummy. Of course the best part is being able to spend the day with family and friends! And yes, there are still sales going on–read my post from today!

I love the idea of simple fruit salad for dessert. My family kept it low key this year. we just did smokies and snacks on Christmas and presents of course.

I love your homemade owl ornaments on your tree! We had a great Christmas. Our kids & grandkids (except for the Texans) came the Sunday before Christmas. We opened presents at home on Christmas Eve (we’re raising our 11 year old granddaughter) so we could travel 2 hours away on Christmas day to have dinner with my sister & mom. Glad it was here, glad it’s over, lol.
There is nothing like free kids labor. 🙂 Glad you had a great Christmas and I’m loving your BBW haul. I love their goodies.
